How well do you really know the world's flags?
Colour one in from memory — score points for every shade you get right.
Leaderboard off in this tab: scores you finish here aren't sent to it.
Flags from flag-icons (MIT). Globe from Natural Earth (public domain). Colours judged with CIEDE2000.
Some fine details of this flag have been filled in for you.
Catch-up play: counts towards your all-time average, not your streak or the leaderboard.
Each day can be played once. Catch-ups count towards your all-time average, not your streak or the leaderboard.
You get a flag drawn as an outline, like a colouring book, and the name of the country. Pick a colour with the picker, then click each region to fill it. When every region is filled, hit Submit.
Each colour in the real flag is worth an equal share of 1,000 points. Your colour is compared with the real one using CIEDE2000, a measure of how different two colours look to a human eye — not just how far apart the numbers are. A difference you couldn't spot still scores 1,000; the further off you are, the faster the points fall away.
Very small details (fine emblems, tiny stars, lettering) are pre-filled for you so you can focus on the big blocks of colour.
Daily Challenge: everyone in the world gets the same flag each day (resets at midnight UTC). One attempt only, so make it count — then share your score.
Streaks: play the Daily Challenge on consecutive days to build a daily streak, and finish a Quick Play game on consecutive days to build a Quick Play streak. Days run on UTC, the same clock as the daily reset. Streaks are kept on this device.
Past dailies: once you've played today's, tap any day in your streak card (or open All days) to play one you missed or look back at one you've done. Each day can only be played once. Catch-ups count towards your all-time average, but not your streak or the leaderboard.
